Article Processing Charges

An article processing charge (APC), also known as a publication fee, is a fee which is sometimes charged to authors to make a work available open access in either an open access journal or a hybrid journal.

At present, TurkBilim is a hybrid open access journal and an APC is payable by the author(s) or their institution or funding agency in order to secure an immediate open access for their published article(s). Unless an APC has been paid by the author(s), all published articles are available upon subscription only until the publisher voluntarily grants open access rights to the unsubscribed users. By default, the subscription-only period for the journal is one year after the date the article was published. The publisher holds the right to prolong the subscription-only period or amend to an earlier time, after which the articles are shared under a CC BY-NC-ND license.

Nevertheless, TurkBilim International Journal of Social Sciences reserves the right to change this policy without prior notification to third parties, just by publishing its new publication policy online.
